    Won The Internet

    Heavenly Sword is a piece trash compared to God of War. Not only is Kratos a complete badd ass, but the game is just really fun in general. Perfect combo of action and puzzle.

    Yes, we can all agree that god of war is awsome, but heavenly sword is not a piece of trash, but it can't compete with the god of war franchise. I'm just saying that heavenly sword is good for a rent, but everyone with a ps2 or even a ps3 should buy god of war and god of war II.

    i beat god of war I and II already, borrowed them from a friend recently. a while after that, i tried out a demo of heavenly sword at a sony store (sadly, i don't have a PS3 yet :-( ), and i'm sorry, but compared to GoW, it sucks ass. the controls are annoying as hell - i don't think you can even block, which is lame. then there are like 3 modes of swording, which is just plain retarded. why not just make it one type of sword, and have other weapons later, while saving L1 for blocking?

      You can block. In fact the whole system is based on blocking mechanic. Also... The system in Heavenly forces you to change your weapons more than God of War does. Not to mention that in the game you acquire the 3 stance sword later and the stances effectively serve as different weapons. The demo is not really representative of the final product. Heavenly sword is a very good game. It is shorter and the mechanics are not as refined as GoW, but essentially it is very good. The only problem for me was the repetitive puzzles and the fact the second hit button and counter button is the same.

    i agree with you on that note, Heavenly sword's control mechanics are just plain wrong compared to god of war's, but that not to say that it's a good game for a quick fix of action.

    GoW and GoW2 are awesome. GoW on god mode is fucking hard, and GoW2 on god mode is also aggrivatingly hard. (Havent played titan mode yet...)

    Never Played Half-Life

    I played a little bit of it at a friend's house and thought it was awesome. I might buy it some day, since I can usually find tons of copies of both the games whenever I go shopping.
