  I'm not qualified to do anything except exist - I fail exams like you eat bread.
  
  I would, however, like to think I'm reletively professional with things I put my mind to, like building PC's, and level design (No, you can't see them .. Well, maybe some of the CS maps), despite not having a degree in anything for it.
  
  In my opinion - If you go for something with a professional attitude, and complete the task in a professional manner, and constantly repeat that, then you are a professional.
  
  To quote a dictionary: A person who is expert at his or her work: You can tell by her comments that this editor is a real professional.
