Honorary Oscar Award: Robert Boyle, Art Director for over 70 years, 100 films to his credit and the go-to guy for Alfred Hitchcock's films.
And that's it. I felt this was the fairest Oscar awards show in a long time. More deserving films received credit rather than those who didn't deserve as was the case in the last 5 years or so. With films like No Country, There Will Be Blood and Atonement up for awards, it was anybody's game.
The Coen Bros. made out like bandits with 3 oscars. The Bourne Ultimatum came out of left field and conquered the technical branch claiming 3 oscars.
But the real winner this year appears to be No Country for Old Men for claiming 3 Top Honor Oscars. Gratz to the Coens.

While No country was a great movie, There will be blood was WAY more deserving.
No country had some boring stretches and the ending was...lets just say for such a powerful movie it went out with a wimper. There will be blood was amazing from beginning to end, and had an amazingly powerful ending that blew me away.
