You're just jealous because the PS3 doesn't suffer so many hardware failures by lightyears.

although I love my ps3 and if anyone would start to bash it I fight back... But there are a few things that sony is doing TERRIBLY wrong in europe and australia... but I only know the european mistakes so here they go.
Excuses like we need to localize the stuff for each country...
TBH this is the biggest bullshit I've heard so far. Most of the stuff e.g. are already in multiple languages when they are sold in japan and when it comes to laws they need to abide too that's a bit silly too cause the EU has a nice list of laws they have to follow and all of the 26 ( or 27 dno) countries that are part of the EU follow these exact rules... the only thing that changes are the amount of taxes.
Next thing is splitting up the PSN store again with the same excuse. Now I'm registered to the EU store american and japanese store and I'm surprised at how much they managed to make the store for Belgium as bad as possible. There's no good overview it's like they just mixed it all up as they went along there's not even a menu for demo's solely no there's a menu for games sure but that's a mix of ps1 demos and game extra's. That's why I download most of my demo's and trailers from the american and japanese store. Also I can barely read any japanese but it's still easier for me to browse the japanese store because it's CLEAR. Also quite a lot of things are already translated in multiple languages like the metal gear database. Although it won't recognize my game completion date
. Also the store is almost ALWAYS a week late with demo's and trailers, and most of the trailers never even make it to the EU. Like the movie trailer of tekkon kinkreet. (there's an international trailer of that movie available in the japanese store).
They removed BC from the latest PS3 models ripped out the hd and replaced it with a 40 Gb version and only gave it 2 usb ports. I was lucky enough to have bought the pack with BC a 60 gb and 4 usb slots. My harddrive only has got 13 gb space left and I bought it with 2 games and 2 controllers for $1000 that is ¥100.000.
The ps3 is as far as I heard outselling the xbox in europe.
We still haven't got our dualshock3.
We still haven't got the psn store cards, which I would greatly want to have like NOW since there's no one I know who wants to let me use their visa.
There are more things to complain about but hell atleast my ps3 isn't frying itself
.

Played Final Fantasy Games Before FF7
Localisation I understand. The PAL region is Europe and Australasia, which covers a large number of languages - over 20 in fact, whereas JAP releases generally have English and Japanese at best. Further more, the game has to be altered to support PAL TV resolutions for those still using SD screens, which is yet more coding.
PSN Store? Yeah, I hear you. The EU one is not as good as the others.
The crippled 40Gb model cuts costs, and that is what the PS3 needs. With a PS2 costing £65 you can justify having both if you play PS2/PSone games that much. The 40Gb model has helped sales massively, though I think they should have kept a higher spec model.
DS3? Import it. I have one, cost me the same as it would have from a UK dealer for a SIXAXIS.---

It's not really a matter of opinion... it's really rather if Sony can pull their act together or not. The PS3 could have been successful in many ways... for example, if they got their controller rotating thing working right, if they released with some titles that had graphics appropriate for the PS3, not PS, if blueray had won the blueray/HD DVD war... and that's jsut the start of it.
Now, yeah, the PS3 might not have any "good games" yet, but then again, is that really their fault? Most of the titles they have released specifically on the PS3 are either new titles or old titles they we thought died a long time ago... So if we dont want to risk $70 on a game that just might be okay, understandable. Then there's the fact that any REALLY amazing game that we know would have made the console, also released on the 360... and then we have the new news that Final Fantasy XIII is a 360 title in US and Europe. So, would why would ANYONE want to spend $70 on a game that they can get for $60 on a cheaper console?
Again, the Ps3 would be a decent console if they can pull their act together.---
