All of their albums are great in their own way. That's what makes this band the juggernaut that they are. They are incredibly inventive and bring a whole new experience to everything. Regardless of them claiming that the Dark Side of the Oz thing was on purpose, it had to have been. It's just too good. Animals is great, Meddle, Wish You Were Here, Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall. Even with the band changing band members later down the road, they still were ahead of all their contemporaries.

Speaking of the Wall, I don't know if you knew this, but it syncs up with Disney's Alice in Wonderland. I have the DVD to prove it. And the song Echoes syncs with the Jupiter section of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

And I think we all can remember when they got back together for Live 8 in 2005 and everything I ever could've hoped for finally happened when The Who and Pink Floyd were on the same stage in one night. The actor who played Pink in the movie The Wall was the one who got them back together after a 24 year hiatus. Beautiful.

I go where I please, and I please where I go

I'm not a fan, but I do enjoy listening to it now and then.

Good music to have a bath to.

Unlike a lot of Floyd fans, I find myself thoroughly disliking both ends of their catalogue - as in Syd Barrett era and post-Waters era - yet am captivated with the middle era. That seems to confuse a lot of fans and I guess I've come to learn to keep it to myself most times, but I really just can't get my head around what is little more than ill-written acid jams for the start and post-peak dad rock for the latter.

That being said - Animals, Wish You Were Here, and Dark Side of The Moon are my three picks. Meddle also has its moments, especially "Echoes". In fact, I think I'm about due for some Floyd therapy right now...

Be really careful when you make jam out of acid, it can be quite unhealthy if it gets on your skin ;)

Clicks One Thousand Times Per Minute

One of my favourite bands, but as someone else also said, I have a very hard time picking a favourite album.
Their psychedelic stuff is usually great for general chilling, while the faster stuff works well for drawing/gaming/whatever.
