It's just a place to chat...but in 3D. There are places to role play and I go to them because I can use weapons and other things and fight it out with other people like I would in a game (or on the old AOL chats - except in 3D) and earn the exp points to gain a higher ranking in fighting and such.


To me, it's just one big game..although there are other benefits to it that extend far beyond that.

Big business is starting to use it for advertising and such. Some companies are using it to conduct "interviews" with potential employees that may be in other states or countries.

It's getting fairly huge.
