Around 45-50% of online gamers are women, but you'd never tell unless you heard them on voice chat. It is a bit surprising, you just assume that everyone on the server is a male.

Really I thought It would be around 20-40 not 45-50. hmm. Yea but I love when they start getting into a game... now come on you can not just sit their and say you do not think that is freaking hot

Yeah, I like gamer girls more than normal girls, if only for the reason that it's easy to relate.

Along with, you get to kill them as much as you want I don't know but knowing that the person you are killing is a girl gamer makes everything so much more fun!

Well, there is one problem about female gamers (self experience). My current GF is a partial gamer, so she is the type of gamer that ONLY plays the horror games. Just the cream of the crop like silent hill and resident evil. Any other games like that she just calls anyone stupid for playing. So, depends also, what you determine a "female gamer". If you mean a girl that will play any game, then yes, you do have something to do other than spending money. If you are talking about the princess complex female gamer that is unfortunately my GF... than run while you still can.

well...i have a girlfriend who received a wii for christmas, and also got Guitar hero 3 for it. i've played and beaten every installment of GH so i was ecstatic when i found out that she got it. sometimes when we're talking online she'll be like "hey brb, gonna go play a song" and for some reason, i just think that's the coolest freakin thing in the world

as far as thinking they're hotter....idk. i mean, it's cool to see gamer girls, but my gf was already beautiful before she got a wii and she seems the same to me. i just think *like some of the other people on here* that it just gives you something in common that you can both play and enjoy ^_^

He means like, been a gamer for a while. As in, raised on sega genesis and dreamcast. If a girl has ever played dreamcast, she is a gamer.

Haha.....if anyone owns a Dreamcast, they're a gamer. I've only seen 1 before.....and it was even just a glimpse.

They are out there, and unless you play Xbox Live, it's hard to get in contact with them. You are put on a leash when it comes to actually meeting people on Nintendo WiFi, and oh man does that suck. I wonder if SSBB will have some sort of lenience to that. Maybe I'll put my myspace name in my quote! lol

Oh, and there are a lot more girl gamers on Live than you would think. They just don't usually talk much because of prejudice, guys trying to hit on them, etc. That's basically what all my friends say.

I've never heard a girl gamer on live... unless I just couldn't recognize the voice. Which could very well be, people usually don't recognize me as a girl, and I'm not really one to correct them in the heat of a game.

I wish I knew more gamer chicks. I feel more comfortable around girls lmao. I feel like I can be myself rather than being concerned about my looks like I am around guys. D:
