I just thought I'd throw this film in for debate, considering I finally got my hands on it to see it.

Now, in my opinion, I loved this film. Just everything about it gives me some hope in man kind. Kubrick is my hero for being able to completely manipulate the viewer into being attached and drawn to pity the "bad guy" of the film.

At the same time, while watching this film in school, I only heard nasty remarks about it from around me. Including from the teacher showing it. Which I guess I can somewhat understand... I'll let that side defend itself.

So, who are the lovers, and who are the haters?
