Yes I have played this game and loved it. That was a long time ago...maybe 8 years. From what I remember it was great. The combat system was solid, and the customization was refreshing and deep. There were tons of characters to get and I think I only got around half...shame on me I know. The story in my opinion was on par with many Final Fantasy titles which is really saying something.

What do you mean it wasn't released for Europe? :S

Well, anywhoo, Chrono Cross is a great game. Ayup. I forgot most of it but, ayup.

I imported Chrono Cross years ago, and thought it was awesome. Loved the multiple storylines and story arcs, which changed throughout the game.

I actually managed to find a Best Of copy in the waning days of the PS1 at the back of some store, and I immediately bought it because I knew all of the old Playstation stuff was going to get evaporated eventually. Well, it pretty much ruined me for most other RPGs.

It's still sitting in the case next the to the grey PS1, which means I should probably replay it. Such a great game.

I adored that game. Still haven't beaten it yet, though.

I loved Crono Cross. I got it when it first came out.. some many years back. I loved Crono trigger as a kid, so when Crono Cross came out I was pretty happy. I liked how the game did pay respects to quite a bit of Crono Trigger...
It did have a semi FF in depth story feel...
I've come across a lot of people who have over looked this game.. it's a shame really because it was a great game.
Kind of like Legend of Dragoon.....
