Shut up and die.

So how many people here actually play pen and paper RPGs? Roll up some character sheets, game out for a few hours, attributes, feats, the whole shebang?

I know I've played the Star Wars RPG, Twilight 2000, Dungeons and Dragons, and some other systems that people were inventing at the time. Mostly I played the SWRPG, but Twilight 2000 was pretty enjoyable. Role-playing a NATO outfit in Eastern Europe at the outbreak of WWIII was pretty fun and I'd like to go back to that.

Anyone else tabletop game? Seems to be a very small group of people.

Last table topping I did was Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor. Very much more in depth than the other Warhammer based games, a lot more along the lines of D&D.

Sadly, my free time dried up and I had to give up :(

I did old-school battletech with the pewter minis and all that. Mechwarrior hardcore.

:mischief: I've been known to play a round or two.... (end sarcasm)

Over the past 23 years, I've tried my hand at...let's see:

D&D v. 1, 2, 3, 3.5 in Greyhawk, Darksun, Spelljammer, DragonLance, Forgotten Realms and about a million home-brewed campaign settings (including a dozen or so of my own)
SW both West End Games defunct d6, and both revisions of WotC's newer d20
    V:tM 1st, 2nd, and 3rd editions
    Rifts
    Gurps
    Robotech
    Shadowrun
    Spycraft
    TMNT (*shudder*)
    BESM (^.^)
    7th Sea
Dark Legacy (which my brother helped write)
Star Trek (the old Last Unicorn Games version)

Those are just what I can come up with off the top of my head. :smirk: Suffice to say, that there's a valid reason why my "official" title around here (i.e. on my user page :smirk:) is "Dungeon Goddess."

Actually technically there's 3 revisions from Wizards of the Coast: the original d20 SWRPG, d20 SWRPG Revised Core Rulebook, and the new d20 SWRPG Saga Edition. Though I really only kept up with the original, the only point to revising was to make money off books. West End Games was more dedicated to its fans in my opinion.

The RCRB tried to fix the things that were wrong with playing a Jedi...but they only succeeded in nozzing it up even worse than they originally did. And I've heard that the new Saga Edition blows ass, so I haven't played with it at all yet.

Funny thing is that I know Rodney Thompson from a very prominent SWRPG fansite and he's one of the new engineers designing the current incarnation of the game, so yea. I only played OCRB and left it at that, with my money in my pocket.
