Hears The Tetris Theme During Nightmares

I am personally stoked for the game and I know nearly nothing about the Warhammer Universe. However the RVR system seems incredible and constantly shifting campaign seems enjoyable. Perhaps this might be the chosen one to overthrow WOW? Who else will be playing this game?

Worrying is about as effective as chewing gum to solve algebra

I keep getting beta invites, but I just cannot be bothered.

I never got very involved with the game in its table top format, and the few games I did play, bored the crap out of me.

Yet another 'medieval' MMO, certainly nothing more special than WoW, I doubt it'll even see a million regular customers, let alone enough to kick WoW out of its rather large throne.

I'll be more interested when they get a 40k version out - I want a Grey Knight (Of Space Wolf origin) and a Catachan Jungle Fighter/Cadian Shock Trooper.

Possibly a Khorne World Eater, or a Khorne Berserker. >.>

Personally for me it blows wow away. However you have to have a good guild to play it just like wic. When you quest solo in this game its no different than WOW. You can conquer parts of the land and claim keeps for your guild. Also there are huge PVP battles that take place across the world and are not scenarios like WOW, also these battles have purpose as it secures the area for your sides control unlike WOWs pointless PVP world combat. Also I dont know anything about the warhammer universe but the game wants to make me know. I really think this game will reach over 1 million suscrber by the end of the year. The PVP in this game is breath taking though so much more strategic and epic than other games. I was in closed beta and the game had very few bugs and that was CLOSED BETA!!!! I was one of the people that was orginally wowed by WOW but realized its was quite shallow later on also PVP was quite piss poor. I would recommend that you at least try warhammer there are plenty of people out there dying for beta invites, if you not interested can I have them? There are people in my guild who are dying for beta access.

I preordered the game, and I got into the beta. Great game, I loved the lore and the table top, but the bugs are horrible, like on one of the public quests, two of the enemies are invulnerable until the whole quest ends, but on the ends of that it's good.

I've been long interested by Warhammer Online, as it's probably the best competitor to WoW's MMO stranglehold. It presents some creative differences in how the game is played, introducing more classes and abilities, more specialization.

Personally I'm holding out for a successful sci-fi MMORPG, after the failure of Star Wars Galaxies. And I probably won't be highly interested in Star Trek Online, but sometimes I think this game would have been much better at competing if they'd developed it as Warhammer 40,000 Online. But who knows, maybe the rumors of a Starcraft Online are true.

I don't know which class I should play, I've tried each one but most of them are the same and good as well. My favorites are the marauder, white lion, witch hunter, and the black orc. Just can't decide on my main though. Anyone got any idea on what class is great? I love DPS and these guys are I think are pretty white Dmg dealers, well I got until Tuesday to decide on what to make.

I bought the game and played a bit, but am spoiled by WoW. WAR, being recently launched, lacks many of the refinements WoW has perfected. Why would WoW have them and WAR not? Well, WoW has had a long time to move around, toy with new things and hone their gameplay.

Actually, playing some of WAR has launched me back into WoW for the time being. That isn't to say I'll never play WAR, we'll see what happens.

After a week of owning it I'm very impressed. I'm having a lot more fun on this that I ever had on wow. Just wish I had the time to really get into it with work, school, the whole life thing, and TF2 managed to get me hooked on it again! how I love sniping on that game
