Above The Limit (ATL) was founded by Kevin Van. ATL is a gaming organization that gives ambitious or recreational gamers a place to compete and have fun. We host online tournaments for many prestigious games like Halo 3, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Rainbow Six Vegas 2, and Gears of War. Prizes vary depending on the occasion but mostly its cash prizes, so we can maintain and increase our organization. We also have individual gamers willing to show new gamers some good tips and spots in each game to make these gamers become better at the game. We have tutor videos as well if they feel like watching is better than a one-on-one private room action. We also provide forums for gamers to talk about games, life, etc. ATL designs shirts to any interested customers. We also attempt to support teams to go to LAN events to help promote us as well. Major League Gaming (MLG) is a prestigious gaming corporation that hosts LAN events that accumulate around 50,000 people per event. Most of them are ambitious competitors with the urge to win money. Those competitors are our main targets but recreational gamers have a spot in our organization as well.
Sponsored Teams are NeW eRa for Rainbow Six Vegas 2, Upgrade for Unreal Tournament III, IN 2 DEEP for Call of Duty 4, and Thrive for Gears of War.
The following will be talk a little about the teams.

NeW eRa was the most dominant team back in 2007 for Rainbow Six Vegas as they took first place at the MLG Las Vegas ’07 Championship LAN event. Before that success, they were formed right before the MLG Orlando ’07 LAN event (LAN event right before the Las Vegas event), which they placed second. That second place indicated that practice is needed in order to take first for the Las Vegas event and so they practiced over eight hours a day perfecting their chemistry and strategies. Practice paid off as they took first. MLG ’07 season was done as NeW eRa awaited for the MLG ’08 season for Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and here it came. But altercations came up and the team dispersed. However, that didn’t stop the members from competing on MLG. JwHoJcAsH joined up Carnage N Chaos for San Diego which placed in a disappointing 12th. However, the reason why is that there was a last week problem within Carnage N Chaos where one of their teammates Problemz could not attend San Diego. Carnage N Chaos searched for a new fourth and picked up Finest X, who hasn’t touched the game for two months before the event. Trigga IVIan and TeKkNiQuE joined up with two other gamers to form Broskins on the Lowskins, which placed third at San Diego. FaMOuS D x was on Lost Cause with long friend Lyricz and Phobia and finished second at San Diego. San Diego was FaMOuS D x was his first LAN event. After San Diego was MLG Orlando ’08 LAN event. JwHoJcAsH and FaMOuS D x both left their teams and joined up with two other pro status gamers to make the new Carnage N Chaos. They practice hard and finished fifth placed at Orlando. Trigga IVIan’s and TeKkNiQuE’s team stayed together but changed their name to Impulse but disappointed everyone as they placed 30th. Trigga IVIan and TeKkNiQuE quickly left that team as well as JwHoJcAsH and FaMOuS D x and all four joined up to reunite a new NeW eRa.

They first began on a dominating PS3 Clan for Unreal Tournament III, 2nd Amendment. Flares began and people started to feud against each other in the clan. Later on, 2nd Amendment split and Upgrade was born. The original leader of Upgrade is Deadaim. They became the new dominating force for Unreal Tournament III on the PS3 Ladder on Gamebattles. Unfortunately, Gamebattles decided to get rid of that ladder, which pushed Upgrade to the Unreal Tournament III for Xbox 360. Deadaim is still considering going to Xbox 360, but while he is deciding, tRay6o took the role as the leader and is doing a fantastic job. Upgrade is the top dog of UT3 on Xbox 360 as they still wait for a clan to defeat them.

[N2D] has been together for almost four years. They were a top five team in Call of Duty 2 and Call of Duty 3 winning over about seven tournaments on Call of Duty 2 constantly and won the first Call of Duty 3 tournament. [N2D] received multiple sponsorships with NxGamers, Gaming Tourneys, Steel Series and MoB Gaming, but left them all because the sponsors did not live up to what they said they were going to do for [N2D]. They also placed top four in an Epic Ladders tournament in Call of Duty 2. They also took third in King of the Hill 2 for Call of Duty 2 hosted by NxGamers. [N2D] went on a remarkable run going 102-2 on Call of Duty 3 in the first month. Not only do they compete in Call of Duty 4, but also Gears of War. They placed first in a Gears of War Tournament. They also took first place at the Lancaster LAN in PA for COD4. The leader, N2D GODFATHER, was interviewed live on LagTV to discuss about their outstanding success as a team. [N2D] took third place at a LAN event hosted by NxGamers, while N2D Bon3Crush3r took fourth place in Orlando for a FFA (Free-For-All) in Call of Duty 4 hosted by HardKnocks.

Thrive is an unstoppable wrecking crew in the Gears of War world. This team is made up of individuals who know what it takes to win. The leader, A RUMiR, has been to five Gears of War LAN events and received first place three times and he went to MLG Las Vegas ’07 Championship LAN event for Gears of War and placed 16th. BaySoldieR went to only one Gears of War LAN event and placed first at that event. x SOLDiER o went to four Gears of War LAN events and placed first once because he had to face the A RUMiR three times at the finals. They wanted to go on different teams to play for fun but now they are together and ready to takeover. xNoMercy05x is attended the same MLG LAN event for Gears of War that A RUMiR went to and placed 12th. xNoMercy05x also went to ten local Gears of War LAN events and placed first five times. All four members live in California, so gaining respect for their skills is difficult because majority of the gamers live and believe you must live in the east coast to have great skills. But rest assure, all members of Thrive go to LAN practices at least twice a month to get adapted to it and ready to takeover MLG and send a message to all gamers that even some west coast gamers have great skills.
Research and Sponsorship Information
I, Kevin, have been researching on the target market in the gaming world and it mostly ranges from the age 15-28. Most of them are young men but there are some women that compete as well. To describe more about these gamers is that they are young, ambitious people seeking to dominate every game but to do that they need the perfect equipments to do so. That being said, they are willing to pay up how much they need to, to possess those equipments. To get a bigger crowd then just MLG, we also attend LAN events hosted from other corporations like iGamers, LAG Gaming, e-Bash, and many more.
What can ATL do for their sponsor? Not only will we just place high to show our domination but also we are making our own customized website very soon. We can give the sponsor a section in the sponsor page where people can read up on how amazing the sponsor's service/product is and give a direct link to the sponsor's official website. Plus we plan to host online tournaments and we can add your name to give some credibility to you for making this happen. Over 50,000 people attend a MLG event to compete or watch per day and we can put your logo on the back of our shirts. Plus we can put your name on our GameBattle’s page.
What ATL ask from you? We are willing to hear your offers and would like to negotiate it further into making this sponsorship.
What are ATL moral or code of conduct? We do not tolerate any ATL members to trash talk the other opponents. We here at ATL want to establish a mature, friendly, professional environment for gamers to come to and compete and be themselves.

Currently we are dedicating all (and trust me when I say all, our team is eating lead paint in turpentine for cereal) current resources to development of NapalmRiot.
We would eventually like to look into clan sponsorship, but at the current time we cannot
Please though tell your mates to come on by and do stay updated on our progress (and update us on yours!). We di sincerely appreciate your interest.
