I've seen the trophy collection in the PS3 menu for some time, but have no idea what that's about, anyone care to explain?

    Basically it's Sonys version of Gamerpoints - You win trophies for doing thing X in game Y. Sadly it's not backwards compatible (For obvious reasons), so you'll basically need to re-play all the games you already completed and forgot about :B

        As far as I'm aware they're adding them to certain existing games, but not others (I'm told that Uncharted: Drakes Fortune is one of the latter).

          I thought there were only like one or 2 trophies per game, and thus made them more valuable to have/brag about.

    No warhawk has about 50 or so trophies from the easy to the near impossible. The trophies add up to give you some sort of Level Rank. They are not forcing people to add trophies but, a few of the larger more resourced 3rd party developers are adding them in such as Burnout for example. It is meh on the XMB but, in HOME you will actually have a trophy room which is pretty nice I suppose.
