What do you guys think. I know BC opened a much needed refreshing window for players, but now I'm curious if anyone else sees a kind of SOE approach to expansions coming out. Overuse of expansions tends to be an MMO killer in my opinion and I'm just thinking, with barely any guilds able to take on the final steps of the Endgame in BC...here comes a new expansion.

No idea what it would be, no idea when it would be, but hey. I doubt that WoW is ever going to go the way of, say, Myst Online.

There is room for more "expansions" (Emerald Dream for one), and WoW being the cash cow that it is, will be milked until it dies.
That or Blizz will bring out "WoW2" with updated graphics and other shit. Admitedly WoW is looking a little tired these days. But apparently they have been refreshed for WotLK.
We shall see in a few minutes if they are or not. >_>

There's some nicer shadows and that's about it - WoW is dx7 compatible, I doubt they'll change that, because I expect a large portion of their subscribers use what we would consider 'low end' machines.
When it comes to the number of expansions, I'm only repeating what I've heard - Nothing official.
Keep your eyes peeled for the average gamers.

The idea of having to collect all my epics again doesn't really bother me since it is so easy to get them now. Back pre-BC it took you months to get a few epics, now in BC you can pretty much get a full-set of welfare gear in a week. However
While I think Blizzard won't let the Warcraft franchise die out, they are making a new MMO which I think will run along side WoW - and god, do I hope it's a Starcraft one.
