Spot Fanboy Wanna-Be

I've been watching it for awhile and I'm now going to the beginning and watching all of it, unfortunately it started in like the 40's or something. All I know is no color and bad quality. Some on of the first episodes are really weird too, but at least this way I'll get to see all the actors who played the doctor. Does anyone else watch it?

  Torchwoods ok, but the acting is kinda like that japanese oprea, the one where everythings so overdramatic on purpose. The actings just off a little, but i like how it leads into the point where jack is on Doctor Who.

    Everything you said is pretty true of the first season, but I definitely recommend giving season two a chance if you haven't already. The characters have all come into themselves now, and the acting has gotten substantially better.
    
    So far I think all 4 season two eps rate up there or even above the best from season one.
    
    Plus if your a Dr.Who fan Martha Jones is going to show up for a few episodes this season.

        Probably not, but yeah. I'm far ahead of those episodes by now about half done with season 2, and going to watch more and more and more. There is absolutely nothing to do for this whole break, so this fills the void. If this runs out, I also have Torchwood season 1 to re watch. Yayyy.

        Just finished watching "The Impossible Planet" and "The Satan Pit." All I can say is... wow. These two eps were just FANTASTIC (anyone?).
        
        Normally when something has a reference to religion, or specifically the devil in this case, they take a cheesy dance around it. Must just be the thought of American "Politically Correctness" for me, and I had to step back and appreciate this. In American shows they're all OMGooses they're interpreting religion in a TV Show! they better not create an embodiment of god or Satan at the fear of upsetting some peeps! But those Brits are a crafty bunch, and let this show do an amazing job with it.
        
        Oh, and one thing I did find funny was the blackhole description. That everything gets sucked in, no chance of survival (minus the TARDIS..), but not everything does get sucked in.
