Hah! Well I actually was one of the ones who owned a Dreamcast, and I loved it! I was very sad when they pulled them.

The only sega console I owned was the Genesis, and I agree it was really cool. I remember we once borrowed my cousin's special Sonic and Knuckles (i think) cartridge, the one where you could put *another* sonic cartridge ontop of it to play old levels. funfun

I also had a Genesis which you can plug in the CD on the side. I never really had any games for it so I been makeing up for that when I go to Game Stop. I have one DreamCast game (if I can get it back) called Chu Chu Rocket. I will by a system once I get some cash to.

I owned a Genesis as well - man, there was a good system I loved! With just three games, it completely satisfied my need for that sort of entertainment.

Dreamcast. I dropped $600 buying the system, comtrollers, LCD memory cards and games for them to discontinue it 2 months later.
The games I had for it were awesome. The controllers were comfortable and smooth. The ex took it when she left and I hate her for it.

I grew up with the Sega systems. I always liked them better than Nintendo. I loved Genesis, and I was crushed by the defeats of Saturn and Dreamcast. I played way more Saturn and DC than PS1. Man, DC was super loud though. Sounded like it was grinding the disc or something.

The Master System was a great system with some amazing games, (Shinobi, Alex Kidd, Sonic and Phantasy Star just to name a few..) but I must say that the Genesis was superior.

While the Master System was *great* .. the sequels to all those games on the Genesis were MUCH better.

'Best Sega System' Isn't saying all that much these days... Sega got smashed at every turn, NES, SNES, PSX... Sorry Segs.

Granted Sega Saturn gets props for having a version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

But, Sega loses points for add-on overkill. Instead of just making a new system, they tried to cram other crap into what was already obsolete...

Alex the Kidd in Miracle World will always have a special magic for me.
