And I hate that they pushed it back to September. Hopefully though the game'll get a lot more polish this way.

I was lucky enough to be able to play an early build of this. Even this far away from release it plays great. My only concern is that the whole system depends too much upon player created content.

      Well I do have all the consoles. But for me the deciding factor wasn't just a few games. Some series are PS3 exclusive (Final Fantasy, Disgaea, Romance of the Three Kingdoms), and some of my favorite designers work for Sony (like Fumito Ueda, Naughty Dog Studios) Add to that Sony's new approach of aggressively pursuing to publish original and interesting indie games (Little Big Planet is an example of this) it's really a no brainer.
      
      There are plenty of reasons to make you buy a PS3 or prefer it over other consoles. But I guess this is not the topic for it.

      It's not the non mainstreamness of it. It's rather... The Romance of the Three Kingdoms series was always based more on text than graphics. The latest game in the series for instance can easily work on a Pentium I. The game they did 1 year ago can work on a 386.
      
      I'm just a sucker for that kind of hardcore strategy game. It's also a unique mixture of RPG and strategy. It's just that people expect you to buy something flashy done with Unreal 3 engine. Not text based game with chinese voice overs and a few 2d images.

Eh.

I'm not so much looking forward to it as not bothered. At first, yes, I was ooo-ing and ahh-ing like everyone else. Since then, though, it's just felt like a demonstration of a physics engine.

It's just not as attractive as it once was, online 'level design' sounds like 'online arguing with other people' to me, and to be honest, I get enough of that at work.

The concept's cool, yeah, but the players would need to all be as cool as the concept for it to work for me - Sadly, over the years, I've lost faith in the vast majority of online gamers.

I think it really depends how intuitive it is to create levels, and not just crap levels either.

I did hear that they would be releasing plushies as well.

LittleBigPlanet is the only game so far intriguing me to delve into the PS3. That and the Resistance games interest me, but I'm a big Halo fan and am looking forward to Gears of War 2, so that's no surprise.
