*SPOILER* If youve not seen the movie, that is.

Its about a being of pure evil that comes to try and destroy the earth every 5000 years. There is only one thing that can stop it, but it was destroyed when the bandits attacked the ship. They found a few dna strands from the weapon though, and cloned it (the girl). They had to more or less reteach her what to do which she eventually did.
