I go where I please, and I please where I go
My console family tree goes like this:
GB Color> GBA> NDS>
NES> SNES> N64> GCN> Wii>
PS2>
MacOs6> *Win95> Win98>*WinME>WinXP>*Vista>
<Then----------------------------------------------------------------------------Now>
Ok, so it's not to scale, but a rough idea. You read from the arrows, and an asterisk means a new PC.---

Killed Big Daddies With The Wrench
My brother got an NES...and I always played games like Rescue Rangers, TMNT, Duck Hunt, and Double Dragon II. Awesome games
Then my parents got us all a Super Nintendo for Christmas one year...we never bought many games for that but played Donkey Kong Country 2 and some Football game that I don't recall.
The first console I got was a Playstation...and somehow never owned an N64.
Then I got a gamecube for my birthday when they were still fresh, bought an xbox for myself a few years later, and got a 360 last Christmas. The only handhelds I ever used were Game Boy and Game Boy Color.
Now that I'm done with a long, drawn-out explanation rather than a simple and completely accurate graph like Chalkley....01.20.08 1:51 pm -

Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?
for the longest time, it was just a Genesis and SNES. Chrono Trigger and Sonic were my beat-them-to-death titles. The I got an N64 and TLZ
oT. Things just kept going.
Handheld wise, I got a GBC when I was....5, i think? whenever Pokemon Red came out. Then, after years, got a GBA, ect....I keep a GB pocket around to play my old games, since DS can't.---

Nintendo Fanboy
I hate Ninja Turtles for NES it was so hard...I'm jealous of those of you who were old enough to actually buy SNES games and knew which ones were good. I really want to play a few of the classic RPG's like Super Mario RPG, Earthbound, and Chrono Trigger. I have my fingers crossed they'll come out on the Wii's virtual console. I'm a little worried about Chrono Trigger though(because of the rights).
Handheld wise I started with an old Sega Gamegear, then got a Gameboy color, then a Gameboy advanced, Then a gameboy advanced SP, and now I have my fat DS
which I like the look better than the lites.

Worrying is about as effective as chewing gum to solve algebra
Between naught and nine I had Gameboys (Original grey brick and green colour) and a Sega Megadrive.
After that it all went downhill, sony consoles and M$ consoles.
I did, a couple of years back obtain a Commodore 64. I played the Metal Gear game, and then we moved and it got lost in the move.
Now it's now, and I'm selling the Ps3 due to lack of anything that makes me want to use it for anything other than a paperweight.
It really does a fantastic job of holding my receipts down..---

I have a friend who's the same.
New console, and he's never played the game, but within three rounds he's kicking my ass at a game that I own :/
I still kick his ass at RTS games though :B---

Yeah, I wasnt around when some of these consoles were released, but I did indeed grow up on them. Nes, Genesis, n64, ps1, C64, gameboy, GBC, GBA, os9, win 95, win 2k. Those are just the ones I grew up on though, not all the ones I own now,
Chrono Trigger has to my all time favorite game. If not that, then it is waaaaaayyy up there. Anyone who hasnt played it has failed and should grab a copy or a rom of it.

Is In Your Base, Killing Your Mans
I blame my parents for making me a gamer. I played all those educational platformers when I was two and all the way up to fifth grade or so (always playing a grade or two ahead). I also had a Genesis (which I'm trying to break out again for WEmas), and a PSOne. I definitely grew up on Sonic and Spyro. And FF VIII, but that one took me years and years to understand; not the best game to play when you're seven.---

woah, I totally forgot about my PSone. I got that before my N64 so that was actually my first console, I just only had like 5 games for it so I didn't play it that much. I grew up on spyro too, 1-3 were amazing, but the rest have been horrible.01.29.08 7:52 pm-

I grew up playing Playstation/N64/Dreamcast (A Jill Sandwich!), that sort of thing. Due to this, my love of Zelda began, all thanks to Ocarina of Time. I got a Gameboy later on, and the ones after it, Pokemon probably being what tied me to handhelds as well.01.31.08 1:40 am -

Stole Your Kill
Due to the lack of sleep I was working with last night, I posted this on the wrong topic...but here it is. >.>
For me, it'd be like this...:
-Original Gameboy > Gameboy Pocket > SNES > Sega Genesis > Sega CD > Sega Dreamcast > Nintendo 64 > Gameboy Color > Gameboy Advance > Playstation > PS2 > Dad's XBox > Nintendo Gamecube > Gameboy Advance SP > Dad's Xbox 360 > Nintendo DS Lite > Nintendo Wii
-Windows 95 > Windows 98 > Windows ME > Windows XP
Although I don't remember many of the games other than Kirby, Tetris, Crazy Taxi, and Dragon Quest, I had those consoles in my house when I grew up.
I never was a gamer 'til around six years old, I was then introduced to the Genesis...and I played the first Power Rangers game on that console until I had blisters on my thumbs and I continued to play until I started to cry from the pain. Ah, good times.
From time to time, I stole my brother's Gameboy, then I got into it when the pocket came out.
But when I found out about all this stuff, I was a complete gamer at heart....and then I learned not to press the buttons so hard...which fixed my blistering problem. Hehe...
