I'm rather far down on the poor side of the spectrum, so I am getting my primary credits out of the way at an inexpensive Community College. Luckily this college has a guaranteed admissions agreement with nearly every college in the state. I'll be transferring to the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg Virginia, my hometown. Hope to be a History Professor.

I hope to pursue a degree in marine biology, in any college from Delaware to South Carolina that offers it. Interestingly, I could go to Kansas and get a degree in marine biology. You know, like half a nation away from the ocean. Makes perfect sense...

Anyway, that gives me 9 colleges to choose from, and only two of those (both of them in SC) have any kind of a decent religious studies program, which also greatly interests me. Naturally, they're all close to the beach, but I'm not at all interested in partying. So that makes it tough.

To let you know...

I'm currently attending Compass Film Academy and majoring in Directing, Producing, Screenwriting, and Editing. They only take 20 people a year and the staff is incredible. Classes are from noon to 5, Monday through Friday, and its a blast every second.

I'm a freshman at the university of illinois-springfield myself, not to bad a school if you want a medium sized university and live in Illinois.

I'm a sophomore in computer engineering at a school you've never heard of. :B

If you're looking at photography in NY, check out RIT. Their photography program is supposed to be really awesome and at the level of schools that specialize in art. Because RIT is also an engineering school, they do a lot of stuff on the technical side of photography, too, like with the actual equipment.

SUNY Potsdam, across the river from my school, has a photography program but I don't know about video. semi234 at deviantART just graduated from Potsdam State last year and he's a pretty nice guy, so he'd probably be happy to answer any questions you might have about Potsdam State if you've any interest in it.

I applied to Academy of Visual Arts in Leipzig, Germany. I want to get a Fine Art diploma there.

I go to the University of Illinois - Chicago.

Yeah, it's not bad... but choosing to not apply for housing like a year in advance killed any chance of getting into the dorms. They can only hold.... I think it is 50% of all incoming freshman. Gogo commuter school x_x. But otherwise I love the city feel.

I'm looking to into architecture/engineering/design

I don't know where to look at all...but my gpa is good enough to get into the majority of colleges (3.6ish)

Anyone know of a good school w/ those majors (maybe a smaller size college)

Oh and Annath, i took AP Euro and it was possibly the most exciting History class i've taken (I usually hate history ;D)-Bismark and I are tight man

I plan on going to school here in Michigan, hopefully U of M. I'm going into Recording Engineering/Development.
Maybe stuff with live performances. Most likely studio stuff.

Anybody know a good college for graphic design or illustration? Preferably close to California?

I go to Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma City. Going for a Bachelors of Science in Music Business.

School is great. OKC is silly.

I was attending an art school for my BFA in Photography, but I've kind of changed my mind.. photography is something I feel extremely passionate about.. but I'm not sure I want to be poor all my life.

After paying off my student loans, I'd have to pay to upgrade my equipment every few months just so I can land that amazing 25k a year job.

I'm switching majors to Mass Communications, or English.. I can't decide.

I'm goin for majors in Computer Engineering and Game Development/Computer Science. Current goal in life: start up a game company with a friend, make an MMOFPS/RPG and be poor for my life, but happy nonetheless. You know, take away one meal a day for a week so I can upgrade my computer or get some new games? Yea that's the life I'll be living, but with a Computer Engineering degree I'll have a good back up incase things don't work out.

Anyway, anyone know any good schools for both of those. I like Lehigh, despite being able to go to Georgia Tech basically for free. I just like the Lehigh atmosphere better. I need to make a college list soon though, so any ideas are appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!
